TEAMS

Teams Wiki

Our development teams are organized around Chandler Desktop and Chandler Server. Product Planning and Design, Quality Assurance, Build and Release and Operations support both projects.

The Teams Wiki provides a dedicated wiki area for each team to stay up-to-date and focused on priorities and active projects. Team pages generally include a who's who, areas of responsibility for team members, meeting notes, active projects and relevant resources. Much of the content in this area is considered work-in-progress. Please see the Product, Planning and Developer areas for more "official" product and project information. Please see the Notes Area for personal, project contributor notes.

For a list of paid staff, see: OSAF People. We have summer interns participating on several teams.

Chandler Desktop

The Desktop Team is focused on building Chandler's Desktop Application. A Release Team (including QA, PPD and Build members) meets regularly to shepherd releases to completion.

Chandler Server (Cosmo)

The Chandler Server Team is working on both the Chandler Server (CalDAV server), the Chandler Server Admin web interface and the end-user Information Management web interface. Chandler Server is the software that powers the Chandler Hub Sharing Service. The Chandler Server code is also available for download as a standalone server.

Cross - Product Teams

PPD Product Planning & Design

The Product Management, Program Management and Design Team is responsible for defining the Chandler product, building the product roadmap, conducting user research, driving our open Product Design process, prioritizing and planning feature implementation and managing the release schedule for both the Chandler Desktop and Chandler Hub products.

Quality Assurance

The QA Team is focused on testing features in Chandler Desktop and Chandler Server and defining processes to enhance the overall quality of each release.

Build & Release

The Chandler Build and Release Team is responsible for building Chandler on all supported platforms, installers, updaters and both end-user and developer downloads.

Operations

The Operations Team is responsible for OSAF organization as a whole. We monitor project progress and status, guided project and product strategy, and manage day-to-day operations from budget to hiring.
