The following is a list of known problems and issues in the 0.6 release. We expect to update this page as any new critical problems are discovered.

General issues

• Bug:4447 - Delete key doesn't delete the collection from the sidebar. The delete key only works to delete an individual item from a collection.
• Bug:2677 - New note invisible at the bottom when summary view is full of items.
• Bug:3405 - Reminder cannot be dismissed if it comes up on top of the accounts dialog.
• Bug:3962 - When you publish or suscribe to a share, there is a slight delay before the sharing icon appears to the right of the collection name if the sidebar.
• Bug:3974 - It's possible to create events in the trash.
• Bug:4582 - In and Out collections do not appear even after syncing mail in Chandler when using personal parcel to set accounts. The In and Out collections are supposed to appear in the sidebar when you setup your mail accounts.
• Bug:4862 - Incomplete item when sharing certain modified recurring events. Two users are sharing a recurring event, one changes the first event in the series only, then syncs.
• Bug:4975 - Not Booting with Windows XP on Gateway w/Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor. This problem can occur if you are low or out of space during the Chandler initial startup which causes a malformed repository to be created.

Platform specific issues

• Windows
  • Bug:2603 - Uninstall does not remove all files
  • Bug:4700 - Creating events in All shouldn't add them to All's inclusions list. This is a development related issue and does not cause any visual problems.
  • Bug:2736 - Test menu: add additional views keeps adding the same views. If you keep selecting add additional views in the test menu, it keeps adding them over and over in the sidebar.
  • Bug:4360 - wxGrid changes recently broke keyboard navigation. Keyboard navigation (user arrows) in the summary table view is not working correctly.
  • Bug:3945 - Some items are hidden in the summary table view under the header.
  • Bug:4729 - Detail view markup bar icons are not drawing correctly when you subscribe to a read only ticket and select a read only event to view the details.
  • Bug:4838 - Importing certain reminders exported from iCal fails. Some versions of Apple's iCal export snoozed reminders incorrectly.
  • Bug:4849 - Emptying recurring events from trash puts any modifications in All Items.
• Mac
  • Bug:4611 - Clicking on the app icon after minimizing the Chandler window doesn't work. It doesn't automatically redisplay the Chandler window on top.
  • Bug:4628 - Clicking in the body field doesn't move cursor. This bug in very intermittent and difficult to reproduce. Once encountered, the cursor seems to get into a state where you can't change the insertion point or select anything in the notes field. Closing and restarting Chandler usually solves the issue.
  • Bug:1753 - Using the window Close button on chandler on Mac quits the application.
  • Bug:3307 - Multo-select and dragging items in summary table view is not always working.
• Linux
  • Bug:2686 - Scrollbars appearing intermittently on mult-line control. Text control appearing and disappearing when you double click.

Performance related issues

• Bug:1692 - Chandler uses too much memory on startup with empty repository.
• Bug:1849 - Performance: startup time is slow.
• Bug:3380 - Long running chandler grows memory footprint.
• Bug:3988 - Importing a 3000 item calendar is slow.
