0.4 Item Cloud Summary

Item clouds are a new repository feature implemented in .4. We make use of them with sharing and in CPIA.

• We added the notion of 'cloud' to the repository data model.
• We removed the notion of 'copy policy' from the data model, simplifying matters by using clouds instead.
• We added support for clouds in the parcel loader.
• Sharing made use of clouds.

Work to do in .5

• We'd like to take a look at simplifying clouds in .5.
• Instead of 'delete policy' in the repository, we'd like to use clouds instead.
