Wiki Code Issues

This page discusses problems in the wiki that require code changes of some kind (e.g. a plugin). See also EngineeringRequestsForIT^? and the Bugzilla list.

• Perhaps roll the "all contributors" script back into TWiki project?
• Better search on the wiki would be really, really, really, REALLY helpful.
• Make RSS and email notification features that give the diffs or links to the diffs, not to the full pages.

• If you are not registered, if you then try to view a page that doesn't exist, you get given a login dialog box before being told that the page doesn't exist. This also happens on twiki.org, so might be a tough problem to fix.
• Some problem with sorting a second table on a page; clicking on Date2 in TableSortTest^? gives a server error. This is a long-time known uh feature in the Twiki tables, so not likely to see resolution soon.
• You can't escape quotes in the search field of a SEARCH. See Bug:1772, and FormattedSearch for how it's supposed to work. A double-backslash will escape quotes, so we have a workaround.

• It appears that if you save a page directly (instead of preview-save), you lock the page for an hour. This seems like a bug to Ducky. Turned out to be a template error. Fixed.
• The Named Includes patch doesn't seem to be working. See SectionTest and Bug:1773. Fixed.
