TestNewEvent Actions (updated to better match action currently happening the old functional tests)

  • create a new collection by choosing Collection -> New. Type "NewCollection", then hit return.
  • switch to calendar view
  • make sure time zones are turned off by looking in the menus
  • choose go to date and type 12/12/2007 return
  • create an event by double clicking the calendar
  • Give it the name "one" then press return
  • check all-day box
  • uncheck all-day
  • turn on timezones
  • click on the arrows in the timezone pull down above calendar to verify the widget is present
  • click on the arrows again to close timezone widget
  • Repeat on the timezone pulldown in the detail view to veriy the widget is present
  • make the event recur daily by modifying occurs listBox in the detail view
  • delete the second occurrence by choosing Item -> Delete
  • answer recurrence dialog up with "this event"
  • Double click on the title of the second occurence in the Calendar to verify the second occurrence is on the right date
  • Type "two" to give it a new title. Don't end the edit with return because that will close the dialog due to a bug. Instead end the edit by clicking in the detail view's notes box.
  • answer recurrence dialog up with "this event"
  • create a new event by double clicking the calendar
  • give it a new name "three" and end by typing return
  • Click in the detail view starts edit field. Edit -> Select All. Type "12/18/2007".
  • Press enter
  • Scroll one week forward by pressing arrow at the top the the Calendar view
  • Double click on the event that has moved to 12/18/2007 to verify that it is in the correct location.
  • Type a new title "Four" and end it with a return.
  • create an event by using the menu
  • turn time zones off
