Sprint Week Wrap Up Discussion

  • Led by Sheila, Priscilla, Katie

Session Notes

Referring back to people's goals in the beginning of Sprint week. Did we fullfill what you wanted to get out of the Cosmo Sprint?

  • Sheila - common vision of what we are trying to do and everyone is psyched about that. - I think we made progress and positive things to get there
  • BCM - If we get a better long term understanding of what we are doing with Cosmo - beyond the next 6 weeks - yes. everyone has heard and under
  • Adam - Caught up on plan so we can test the product successfully - pretty good idea
  • Mikeal - Long term vision and process clearly defined - follow up. Not understanding who the owners are–katie to fill in on this point.
  • Ed - Understand what a sprint is - most definitely
  • Ted - If we address some of the tension between PPD and dev. People feel they can say what they want to say, are afraid to say, get issues on the table. - I think so.
  • Bobby - Understanding of long term vision of Cosmo - iron out issues in process and team so we can figure out the short-term plan - good start on all of that. We still need to know beyond beta. Understand what beta is. Short term stuff, I always want to do everything at once. Making things incremental
  • Jared - Interested in mid-term plan (1.0) - As long as we keep talking about Cosmo - more face to face discussion. Successful if equivalent. - yeah. mid
  • Katie - A lot going on as team - John leaving - project merge - sharing format. It feels a bit chaotic and we can't solve that in 3 days. Feel like we are one team working towards a shared goal and we have a strategy in place.
Definitely exceeded my expectations. good job in 3 days
  • Matthew - Sense of context - where the Web UI is going. Where pieces of functionality fit. How different pieces of UI fit in the priorities. What is the design team plan - work as a team. - yes. Context thing may have been regard. Back end listen to, may not understand, at least have heard it
  • Mimi - Take this opportunity to hear everyone articulate understanding of the design process and the expectations of what it should be based on past experience. (long
  • JohnT?. - what was on the board 1.0, goal great start. Everyone one the same room talking and communicating is a good thing.
  • Priscilla - Point to anyone and have them say the target user and also make the leap to what the features are. - yes.
