Chandler Plugins Tutorial

Chandler plugins are optional Python modules that add or change existing functionality. They are not included in the normal Chandler downloads or installers. The best way to make plugins discoverable and widely available is to upload them to Cheeseshop. You can see the currently available plugins here: http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi?:action=browse&c=519.

Chandler includes a Plugins menu. It has commands to download (from Cheeseshop), install and activate plugins.

The best way to get started is by copying the sample HelloWorldPlugin and changing it to provide the functionality you want.
