Twisted Install Notes for Mac OS X
1. Requires GCC. I used 3.3 2. Connect to via MacPython Package Manager: http://undefined.org/python/pimp/darwin-7.2.0-Power_Macintosh.plist 3. Download: PyOpenSSL (http://pyopenssl.sf.net) and PyCrypto (http://pycrypto.sf.net, recommended version at least 1.9a6) 4. Download PySerial1.21 http://pyserial.sf.net. go to PySerial download directory. Type :python setup.py install. 5. Go to Twisted directory. Type: sudo python setup.py install. 6. Place the Twisted bin directory in path for execution of Twistd and other utilities -- BrianKirsch - 20 Apr 2004
