Project Update

• Chandler
  • Dashboard spec next steps
    • Sheila will edit the dashboard spec based on discussion last Tues - today.
    • Prioritized staging of Alpha4 dashboard.
    • Will include the list of questions Mimi wrote up on the wiki.
    • Mimi will reply to Priscilla email with the notes with the list of questions - today.
  • Stamping spec next steps
    • Bryan's email to Grant on the list - Grant hasn't responded yet.
    • Update spec with staging proposal - in line with dashboard staging.
  • Installer and Email specs first draft - this week.
  • Preparation for review next week - draft a journal page for each spec with details.
  • More specs we need?
    • Content menu spec - not for Alpha4 probably for 0.7.
    • Keyboard short-cuts - 0.7.
    • Staging for sidebar - feedback for engineering
    • Overlay stuff - not blockers for Alpha4

  • Scooby 0.3 in progress
  • Review of the feature list and page with team - this week - Thurs

Usage Scenarios

• Mimi updated the spreadsheet.
• Don't need to finish spreadsheet before sending it out.
• Define terms - usage patterns, scenarios, use cases etc.
• Present spreadsheet in stages
  • Send 2 emails to the list
  • High-level sketch of workflow steps for each usage pattern.
  • How people do these things today, how they can do it better in Chandler, what steps are missing.
• Plan to review with Ops after the emails go out and they have a chance to read them.
• Be clear about where these came from - from users info.
• List is independent of what tool (Chandler or Scooby) the user will be using.

Tuesday Design Session

• Plan is to review the workflows for sharing a calendar with Scooby in 0.3.
• We should encourage Scooby developers to attend as well as some people from Chandler ie: Grant/Morgen.
• If there are dependencies on Chandler - Scooby 0.3 will be out sooner than Chandler Alpha4.
• Morgen will be full-time on the sharing format rewrite and we might have to do that first before we get this working.
• Brainstorm some partial solutions potentially.
• Wacom tablet for people on the phone.

List discussions

• URL discussion on cosmo list
  • PPD has set user requirements.
  • Waiting for engineering to come back with a proposal.
• Sheila will do the weekly design summary.
