Message Annotation

This area is for discussing message annotation, which might become a feature of Chandler or might not.

There are several issues around message annotation. It could be done in one of several ways:

• Changing the subject line
• Modifying the message itself
• Adding a sticky-note to the message
• Adding multiple sticky-notes to the message in several places

There has been some discussion that suggests that the original message should always be preserved for legal reasons, so that annotations would augment the original message, not replace it.
