Software Engineer Intern - Cosmo project

For the summer of 2007, the Open Source Applications Foundation (OSAF) is seeking Software Engineer Interns for its Server/WebUI development team.

This job involves enhancements and bug fixes for the Cosmo CalDAV server (written mostly in Java) or the Cosmo WebUI (DHTML and JavaScript, incl. AJAX).

Technical Requirements:

• Real programming experience with Java or JavaScript
• Good problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Cross-platform development experience a plus
• Open source experience a plus

Other Requirements:

• Computer Science students enrolled in a 4 years program. Junior and Senior prefered for dev positions though we are open to talented candidate of different background
• Legal right to work in the US (for motivated foreign candidates, OSAF might consider sponsoring one J1 candidate through the CIEE, only candidates with outstanding skills will be considered)
• 3 months minimum
• Must be able to work locally at OSAF's San Francisco office
