Set up Chandler Desktop to Share | Watch Demo

Congratulations you have successfully signed up for a Chandler Hub Sharing Account. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to set up Chandler Desktop to start sharing!

Set up your Chandler Hub account in Chandler Desktop

  1. In Chandler, go to the File>>Accounts... menu.
  2. Select Chandler Hub Sharing from the list of Accounts on the left.
  3. On the right, fill in the username and password for your newly acquired Chandler Hub account.
  4. Click [Test] to make sure your account information is correct.
  5. Click [Okay] to save and exit.





Publish a Collection

  1. In Chandler, select the collection you wish to publish.
  2. Go to the Share>>Publish... menu.
  3. Select Chandler Hub Sharing from the 'Sharing account' pulldown.
  4. Click [Publish].

Note You can choose to share or not share certain fields with others. Similarly subscribers to your shares can choose to share or not share these fields.

If you are trying to share with yourself across multiple computers, we suggest you check all of the options in the dialog.



Invite Others to Subscribe

  1. When your collection has been successfully published to the Chandler Hub servers, you will be presented with 2 sharing URLs to hand out to subscribers.
    • The View and Edit URL gives subscribers the ability to both browse the collection as well as to create new items, make changes and delete items.
    • The View-Only URL gives subscribers
  2. Click [Copy URL(s) to Clipboard]...
  3. ...so you can paste the URLs into an email and send them off to family, friends and colleagues!
