passed r14381 winXP/ Mac

Task column TCDB0005 Remove from task list Click on the task icon next to an item in the Dashboard to remove it from the tasklist. Verify that the task icon disappears stearns: passed RC1 winXP/Ubuntu
passed r14381 winXP/ Mac
Communication status column TCDB0006 Communication states Verify 'RECEIVED' communication icon is displayed depending on whether you are in From:, Send as, Sent by, Edited by, Updated by stearns: this case's description needs to be reworded: do this, see this, and should be specific about whether the item is coming in via email or sharing (or maybe these should be separate test cases?). In RC2 on winXP and Ubuntu, when I receive an email addressed to me, it appears with the unread/received (downarrow in blue circle) icon.
There is no IN communication icon, the Sent by and Updated by fields are not editable so you can't be "in" them, and the Send via is actually called Send as - I think the test spec needs to be updated
Communication status column TCDB0007 Communication states Verify 'SENT' communication icon is displayed depending on whether you are in To:, CC:, or BCC: fields stearns: this case's description needs to be reworded: do this, see this. In RC2 on winXP and Ubuntu, when I stamp an item as email, its comm-status icon becomes the gray right-pointing arrow with dashed shaft (eg, "draft read"). When I send it, nothing appears in the comm-status cell (that is, a blank icon), which is right according to the spec (see "sent read").
There is no OUT communication icon (there is are some "sent" icons though) I only see the draft sent icon, never the solid gray sent icon and never the blue new sent icon as shown in the spec Bug:9279
Communication status column TCDB0008 Communication states If a message is from you, it should be in Out collection and who the message is to should be in the Who column stearns: passed RC2 winXP/Ubuntu
verified - Chandler_iosx_0.7.dev-r14381-20070522183529.app
Communication status column TCDB0009 Communication states If you are in the TO, CC, BCC of the message it should be in the In collection and who the message is FR or ED or UP in the who column stearns: passed RC2 winXP
verified - Chandler_iosx_0.7.dev-r14381-20070522183529.app
Communication status column TCDB0010 Communication states If you are in the TO, CC & BCC fields and you're SEnding, Editing, have Sent or have Updated an item, it should show up in both In and Out collections. The message shows up as fromMe in the communications status column and you see who the message is TO in the Who column stearns: on RC2 winXP, "ed" appeared in the Who column: Bug:10687
verified - Chandler_iosx_0.7.dev-r14381-20070522183529.app
Communication status column TCDB0011 Communication states If you are in none of the fields OR the item is not a message, the item is NEUTRAL and you see both who the message is FR and TO stearns: I think this test case is wrong, and on RC2 Ubuntu,
pending (discussing with Mimi)
Communication status column TCDB0012 Communication states The Who column should sort on the contact listed in the column, not on a particular attribute, e.g. FR or TO. stearns: passed RC2 winXP/Ubuntu
passed r14384 Intel Mac
Communication status column TCDB0013 Read/UnRead status workflows Item shows unread when created by user in the CLI toolbar text field stearns: passed RC2 winXP/Ubuntu
passed r14384 Intel Mac
Communication status column TCDB0014 Read/UnRead status workflows Item shows unread when created by sharees stearns: test spec needs updating: items are not marked unread when downloaded during initial subscribe -- only when new items are downloaded during subsequent syncs; verified that this is the case w/RC2 on Ubuntu.
passed r14384 Intel Mac
Communication status column TCDB0015 Read/UnRead status workflows Newly received messages should show as unread stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
passed r14384 Intel Mac
Communication status column TCDB0016 Read/UnRead status workflows Newly received updates to existing items should show as unread stearns: per note above (in TCDB0014), verified w/RC2 on Ubuntu

pending
Communication status column TCDB0017 Read/UnRead status workflows Items edited by sharees should show as unread stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
pending
Communication status column TCDB0018 Read/UnRead status workflows Items with errors should show as unread stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
pending
Communication status column TCDB0019 Read/UnRead status workflows Items are automatically marked Read when the user selects the item in the summary pane stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
pending
Communication status column TCDB0020 Read/UnRead status workflows Item shows unread when created by user in the CLI toolbar text field stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu, except that I'm surprised that items created in the quick-entry field are selected and appear in the detail view right away (which means they're marked read a second later).
pending
Reminder column TCDB0021 Reminder column Add a custom tickler by clicking on the tickler icon in the Dashboard. Adding a custom-date Tickler overrides other date status icons (e.g. Calendar stamp icon) if the tickler happens before the event and is in the future, it also automatically assigns a default Tickler date (End-of-day, i.e. 5pm by default) stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
passed, r14382
Reminder column TCDB0023 Reminder column Removing the custom tickler date in the detail view or the summary table then the date column displays the event date or the creation date (see Bug:9023) stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
passed, r14382
Error/Alert TCDB0024 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon syncing a collection, an error icon should be displayed next to the collection stearns: nope, w/RC2 Ubuntu: Bug:8555
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0025 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon syncing a collection, error/alert icon shows in the communication status column for the affected item(s) in the Triage Table stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0027 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon syncing a collection, the tooltip should display the error stearns: nope w/RC2 on Ubuntu, because table tooltips are disabled on Ubuntu: Bug:8179 (note that if this were fixed, I'd still have to ask whether this testcase is asking about the sidebar's collection tooltip (which I think wouldn't show an error: see Bug:8555) or the conflicted-item's tooltip (which I think works on platforms other than Ubuntu, but haven't checked yet).
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0028 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon via Edit/Update, show an error icon next to IN collection stearns: nope, w/RC2 Ubuntu: Bug:8555
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0029 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon via Edit/Update, show an error icon in the communication status column of the affected item in the Triage Table stearns: passed RC2 Ubuntu
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0030 Error icons If a conflict arises on an item upon via Edit/Update, the tooltip should display the error stearns: nope w/RC2 on Ubuntu: all the comments on TCDB0027 apply here too.
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0031 Error icons If a sharing error occurs on an item while syncing a collection, the error icon should display next to the collection, in the communication status column of the affected item in the triage table and the tooltip (stearns: untested for RC2 - I wasn't sure how to generate an item-specific sharing error)

pending
Error/Alert TCDB0032 Error icons If a sharing error occurs while syncing a collection but the error does not affect any particular item, the error icon should display next to the collection in the sidebar, DO NOT SHOW an error icon next to every item in the collection and the tooltip should display "Error syncing Collection" stearns: error icon does appear w/RC2 on Ubuntu, but no tooltip because sidebar/table tooltips are disabled on Ubuntu: Bug:8179
pending
Error/Alert TCDB0033 Error icons If an error occurs while downloading mail, error icon should be displayed next to the In collection and in the communication status column of the affected item in the triage table and the tooltip (stearns: untested for RC2 - I wasn't sure how to generate an item-specific mail-message error)

pending
Error/Alert TCDB0034 Error icons If an error occurs while sending mail, error icon should be displayed next to the OUT collection and in the communication status column of the affected item in the triage table and the tooltip stearns: with RC2 on Ubuntu, the item's icon is correct, but nothing happens with the OUT collection icon (because of Bug:8555); also, I filed Bug:10716 because the error dialog I got had a wacky title, and Bug:10717 because the detail view error message had a formatting weirdness.
