What are UI Component Specification Pages?

  • The UI Component specification pages are the primary way the Design Team will communicate design decisions to the Apps team. Each component specification page gives the design specs for some Chandler UI component.

Who is the intended audience for this type of page?

  • Apps Group engineers who are implementing the UI Components.

Who typically authors this type of page?

What types of information does each page have?

  • Each page is comprised of:
    • Wireframes?
    • Open issues
    • Written specification
    • Links to relevant workflows
    • Sub-components
      • Contents (ie. Items, widgets, attributes)
      • [IntD] Interaction design
      • [VD] Visual design
