- Brand association research - basis for positioning, naming, etc.

- vetting associations (review competitive associations, test candidate associations)
- draft exploratory postion statements
- choose brand association(s) of record
- tweak and approve resulting postion statement(s) (after reviewing competitive positions and testing candidate position statements)
- begin developing creative brand elements
Oct 2006
- develop creative brand elements (test and adjust)
- begin developing brand objectives and strategies plan
- begin building brand awareness consistently using "The Brand Message" with the "Brand Associations" and "Position Statemnt"
Nov 2006
- continue to develop creative brand elements (test and adjust)
- continue building brand awareness consistently using "The Brand Message" with the "Brand Associations" and "Position Statemnt" incorporating creative brand elements when approved
