Review Pieter's summary.
Discussion with Pieter about ommon Cuase licenses. Preliminary agreement that not every single page needs to have the same CC license. If someone wants to contribute an impirtant document and wants to reserve some additional rights under a different CC license, this would be OK. We don't want people to feel they need to post these documents somewhere else.

Next step is to decide on a recommendation for a default license, and the talk with Mitch about this.

Pieter HartsookInvestigate an approach for recording and presenting dialogs about complex issues (term used was "Wicked Problems") that are defined as problems that may not have a right or wrong answer and that may evolve and change in the process of solving them.

The graphical presentation of the pros and cons and related questions and references is particularly nice. The software can generate an html page that could be posted to the Wiki or website to document the decision making process of some of our complex issues.
CompletedRead up on IBIS. Download notation software and experiment with it. The original reference came from a volunteer on IRC - Grant Bowman.Used the mapping tool to help sort through the options for which Creative Commons License options would be the best fit for the OSAF website and Wiki. pages.

Checked in Text Lobs code.

Spent a long time downloading Fedora Core 2 test3, only to discover it wouldn't work with VMware. Installed Debian in VMware, took a while to get it working, finally had it working well, then a VMware crash managed to corrupt the Linux filesystem. Reinstalled Debian, finally have a happy Linux desktop to test on.

Read the iCalendar (vCalendar 2.0) RFC, dug around in the libical code base, spent a while working on debugging the errors libical's python binding test script give. Keep on getting unexpected segmentation faults for certain API calls.
