Pieter HartsookInvestigate an approach for recording and presenting dialogs about complex issues (term used was "Wicked Problems") that are defined as problems that may not have a right or wrong answer and that may evolve and change in the process of solving them.

The graphical presentation of the pros and cons and related questions and references is particularly nice. The software can generate an html page that could be posted to the Wiki or website to document the decision making process of some of our complex issues.
In progressRead up on IBIS. Download notation software and experiment with it. The original reference came from a volunteer on IRC - Grant Bowman.Looked at IBIS (short for Issue-Based Information System). See notes on the Wiki here: IBIS approach to "Wicked Problems"

Review an interesting Powerpoint slide show on using the IBIS method.
The current version of the QuetMap?(tm) software is called Compendium (Java application) and is available for XP, Mac, and Linux. and is available from http://compendiuminstitute.org.

I downloaded and installed the software and the approach look promising. Now to try it out in some meeting.
