Working list of items that we think need to be done to get to a usable calendar product.

Fix Mini Calendar

  • visual tweaks
    • Make margins all-around the mini-calendar even
    • Light grey dates are too light on the Mac
    • Make selected date selector not rounded
    • Make the MONTH YEAR label not all caps, keep it bold
    • Smaller font on the Mac
  • mini cal, main cal interation
    • Using arrows to move mini-cal display forward and backward should not affect the main-cal. But using arrows to move main-cal forward and backward does affect the mini-cal.
  • Different selectors for week view v. day view in mini-cal
    • selecting week vs day in mini cal depending on what is in main cal.

Selection persistence

  • For each appbar area, sidebar collection selection persist
  • Which sidebar collections are "turned on" also persists

Overlays

  • Tri-modal selector as described in the SidebarSpec
    • Widget appears when user ROs or Clicks on a sidebar collection
    • User must click on the widget (to the left of the collection name) to persistently "turn on" a collection
    • User can click a gain to turn it off
  • Selected item and Selected sidebar collection stays the same if user "turns on" another collection
  • Selected item and Selected sidebar collection changes if user switches to another collection
