Notes and Stuff

Words from Tim. Expect them to be abstract, obscure and quite possibly illegible (yes, so bad that they literally make typed text illegible ).

Google Summer of Code Stuff

The basic idea for my GSoC? project is to implement Comet style notifications for Cosmo (and Web UI). When events happen on the server, they should be pushed into the client where the appropriate action is taken. For example, when an appointment is canceled, anyone browsing the Web UI for the appropriate user should immediately see it disappear (rather than having to wait until the next time the client polls the server).

Below are any relevant Wiki documents relating to this project (plans, etc...). Join me now and together we will embark on an exciting journey and attempt to land a real live wombat on a comet. Or, if that fails, we can just get Comet style notifications working for Cosmo. Either sounds cool to me.
