• Project updates
  • ops (Philippe)
    • Focusing activities on release stuff - branding, logo, legal stuff
    • Focused on Preview - more meetings than using the list to expedite things. Need to communicate effectively and not forget we are an open source project. Summarize things on the list.
    • Recruiting for interns
  • ppd (Sheila)
    • Design work sessions winding down. Focussing on details, help support and unblock developers.
    • Not planning many design sessions except for conflict management.
    • Spending most of our time on documentation, branding, logo and release work.
    • Still need to update a number of specs but may not get that done
  • qa (Aparna)
    • Cosmo release - focusing the testing on that
    • Chandler - testing the new features. Need to make a decision to use exisiting framework or have a new test framework.
  • cosmo (Ted)
    • Wrap up on Cosmo 0.6. Osaf.us to be updated tonight and announcements tomorrow.
    • Move on to 0.6.1 and 0.7 dashboard work.
  • chandler (Philippe)
    • Working towards feature complete.
    • EIM work allowed us to move forward with a bunch of other things.
  • service (Jared)
    • Osaf.us updated today to Cosmo 0.6.
    • Thanks everyone on the Cosmo team for supporting the migration effort.
    • Hardware for Preview has arrived and will be setup in a couple of weeks.

  • QA resources (Aparna)
    • Preview is a milestone - bar on quality high. QA team is small, only 4 people.
    • How can we get more QA
    • Automation
    • Adding unit tests for features that are getting checked in.
    • Participation in QA IRC sessions - everyone, even on products you aren't working on.
    • More dogfooding - not coverage on everything now.
    • Increase the frequency of the QA session.
    • Dedicate some day a week that is devoted to testing.
  • Countdown update (Sheila)
    • Highlights for this week - Cosmo 0.6 launch, EIM checking.
    • Highlights for next week - closing on the open issues around branding, naming etc.
  • Cosmo release celebration (Sheila)
    • Celebration to be held on Tues with cake at 1:00pm in Shambala.
