Cosmo sprint update (Ted)

• John T left, Ted becoming the new Cosmo manager
• 3 very productive day at the sprint
  • Better idea of the roadmap, sticky planning needs polish but getting there for both Cosmo and Scooby
  • Great discussion with Morgen and PJE on the sharing format
  • Fleshed out target user
  • Clarification of the use of "alpha" and "beta" in OSAF linguo: "alpha" is dogfoodable internally, "beta" is usable outside (instead of "feature complete")
  • Roadmap beyond beta touched upon, shared vision beyond the beta goal

Project updates

Product planning and design (Sheila)

• Bunch of planning/design tasks as a result of the Cosmo sprint
• Finishing the desktop plan for all of 0.7 release

Cosmo (Ted)

• Sprint (see above)
• Merge of Cosmo/Scooby, going well, ETA middle of next week
• Simdesk checked in hibernate, great contribution! need to see how early we want that in Cosmo

Chandler desktop (Philippe)

• Bug count going down slowly but we're on track for Sept 19th feature complete
• Making good progress toward alpha4: lozenges, ticklers
• Intern work landing in alpha4: Natural time entry (Darshana), logging parcel (Ashkan), soon IMAP Server (Travis)
• wxColumnHeader finally in and respective bug count went down dramatically. Thanks Robin!
• Team focusing on tasks and features right now (see Jeffrey and Heikki demo today)

Hosted service (Jared)

• Roadmap: working with PPD on this, milestone 1 just passed, milestone 8 will be beta
• Support: customer support plan, implemented service911@osaf.us, osaf.us agreed upon
• Email: discussions on-going, email to collections will be supported
• Scaling: setting up admin virtual machine, moving on plan

Community (Ted)

• Not much to report
• Great work from SoC^? people
