OSCON Notes
Last week Mitch, Ted, Mitchell, Brian, Jed, Donn, David and John went to OSCON. For the most part, the OSAF folks who attended OSCON thought it was a good conference. There was some surprise about the level of corporate sponsorship (more than was expected), and some further surprise that the diversity of the crowd in attendance was quite good (i.e., not just a gathering of a bunch of hackers.) The sessions got mixed reviews – some were really good and some were not as good. Mitch added that OSAF and Chandler continued to enjoy a large amount of good will and patience with regard to its debut.
