I. Status Reporting Tool. The Status Reporting tool now has the ability for us to add planned activities for the upcoming week. So we're going to try it for next week. If it works well, Morgen and Pieter can create a general report, and individuals won't need to post individually.

II. Search for Development Manager is beginning in earnest.

Michael's last day is next Tuesday. He'll be available on IRC and email and as needed. In the meantime, Katie's been doing a great job at identifying and coordinating the major ongoing development efforts, especially those needed to unblock people. Heikki will take on some management roles closer to the core of Chandler than he has been. Katie, Heikki and John are working on figuring out which parts of John's world can be identitied and described enough to have other people working on them. Mitch is very involved; taking a hiatus from blogging.

III. 0.3 Planning

Goal -- to have some basic documents working. Which documents will be decided by the design group. Katie and Chao are the main coordination points here, Mitch and Mimi are deeply involved as well, of course. Katie is working on having very clear goals:

In particular, current 0.3 goals are: a repository viewer and ZaoBao^? on the new document architecture and a couple basic documents (views) as defined by the design team.

Note that what we called documents will probably be called "views" again. Final vocabulary decisions are important, so this isn't a final decision yet, but it's the current path. Brian is the vocabulary coordinator.

IV. Hiring. People coming in this week, next week and after. Interviewers should take the time to do a good job interviewing.

B. Developer Meeting

I. Discussion of use of Bugzilla -- could it be replaced by the Status Reports. Decided we will keep using Bugzilla for what we do now -- to see if someone is doomed at work. Suggestion was made that as we start shipping something it will be more important and natural to have Bugzilla.

II. Jed and Stuart and John and Katie are trying to sync up as an apps working group to see what's blocked, what can be done to unblock people. Heikki will join these meetings. Katie is also trying to meet with the the design team to figure out what would be a good target for integrating the design work with development work.

III. Appears that now there are there informal working groups:
