Bugs/Enhancement List

• no line between sidebar and summary view on Windows/Linux (P1)
• selecting All collection - automatically editable (P1)

Changes to Menu Layouts

• Changes to the File Menu:
  • 1. Move Import/Export to File menu (bug 2441 assigned to jeffrey) Change it to say: Import calendar events. Export calendar events.
  • Remove Preferences. Move Accounts to the Applications menu (for Macs)
  • Change New Item Collection to New collection

• Changes to the Test menu:
  • Change Generate Content Items to Generate Data (to include Collections)
  • 2. Remove Generate Notes, Generate Calendar items, Generate Contacts
  • 3. Remove following sharing related items from the Test menu:
    • 1. Subscribe to collection
    • 2. Share collection 'All'
    • 3. Sync collection 'All'
    • 4. Share tool

  • 5. Remove Log View changes
  • 6. Remove Log Repo History
  • 7. Club Repository things together in the test menu(Check Repository, Commit Repository)
  • 8. Remove some of the views from Add Additional Views in the test menu (remove some of the stuff in Add views like Mixed view, note-kind view, contact-kind, task-kind, mail-kind etc)

• Changes to the Item menu:
  • 9. Item menu -> Send as message as Email this?
  • 10. Share 'All' collection instead of Share collection 'All'

• Changes to the View menu:
  • Remove references to Ad-hoc collections
  • Remove 2-pane layout
  • Remove Month view
  • Enable Week and Day view options
  • Change Next and Previous to Next week and Previous week

Detail view

I'm not sure how much of this we can do (margins etc), but here is a simplified view of the Detail View

• Can we specify spacing between rows? and between fields?
• Can we specify margins?
• I couldn't resist putting the all-day check box next to the start-time, but we can move it to it's own row if that's hard to do.
• Can we set the start time and duration fields to be the same # of characters as the alarm pull-down so that they line up?
