Server Meeting Notes - June 1, 2006

Cosmo 0.4 Status

• Only 2 bugs left (1 day or less of work)
• BCM upgraded tomcat and acegi security
• Spending 3 days on JavaDoc^? documentation to help with Summer of Code and intern education (and general project usage)
  • Eventually will have up-to-date JavaDoc^? on cosmo.osafoundation.org
• Plan for now: Release Candidate for 0.4 on Tuesday.
  • Ask Mikeal to run though tests between tuesday and friday.
  • Jeff is using it had a couple of pieces of feedback.
    • All Day events (shouldn't be included in free/busy)

Team Status

• Ed is here now and working on Scooby ticketing support (Yea!)
• Vinu should be starting soon. There was an issue with his paperwork. This should be addressed in the next couple of days.
• Elliott - Elliott is our Google Summer of Code student and it working with Brian Moseley on Atom/RSS improvement for Cosmo.
• We also have two open positions: Web UI Developer for Scooby and Senior Software Engineer for Cosmo.

Chandler Requirements

• Working on plan towards Beta.
• The Service plan and Chandler needs will drive what we need to do with Cosmo.

Cosmo 0.5 Feature Discussion

• SYNCREPORT - Custom Report for changes.
• Service features
• Chandler Desktop dependencies
• server-to-server CalDV^? extensions (CalDAV scheduling)
• import .ics files.
• Cosmo features to create a calendar (since many clients don't do it)
• more UI work on the Admin Interface
• Quotas and Backups
• Jackrabbit has a Summer of Code project for backup and restore.
