QA team meeting notes for 2007-03-27

Attendees: Aparna, Adam and Dan (Mikeal is away on vacation)

• Cosmo QA
  • Cosmo 0.6.1 test plan - waiting on Priscilla to complete the spec on sharing scenarios for Cosmo 0.6.1
  • Windmill 0.2 work - temporarily patched up Windmill so it will run on Tinderbox. Handed off to Bear.
  • DOM Dump of Cosmo required for XMLRPC stuff - Adam to check with Matt on how to get that done.
  • Logging work (offline discussions between Mikeal and Adam. Adam to do further research on it and make a decision)
  • Automating Cosmo 0.6.1 UI using windmill (http://wiki.osafoundation.org/Journal/Teams.CosmoDotSevenWindmillTestingCoverage)

• Chandler QA
  • Recorded scripts handed off to Bear for running on Tinderbox
  • Dan developed a patch for the framework to do stderr detection stuff. Patch review pending from John and Mikeal
  • AutoTriage^? testing in the QA session. Key takeaways : too many conversations making it hard to follow, not easy to know which testcases were covered v/s not during the session, test spec out of date

• QA wiki area * Proposed changes in the new wiki template for the QA area (http://wiki.osafoundation.org/Projects/EngineeringArea)

• Interns - No intern resumes yet

• Oscon Proposals - No one has heard back yet

• Google Test Conference - OSAF will pay for the conference fees and you get the time off to attend the conference

• Proposed change to the QA meeting time - Tuesdays at 1 pm instead of Thursdays at 1 pm
