Schedule updates and changes

• Changed dates for Desktop feature freeze
• Moved the performance work, Cosmo 0.6.1 and design review periods accordingly
• With those modifications, Cosmo 0.6.1 released at the beginning of May

Cosmo 0.6.1 status and plan

• What's left for Cosmo 0.6.1
• Still need a week to test at a developer level
• Remainder of time general QA
• We can't really start integration testing until we hit desktop feature freeze
• Aparna - have a checkpoint of Cosmo that is compatible with Chandler
• Unless we have further EIM record changes - today's build can be used
• QA can start testing early before the week of developer testing
• We will re-test interop with other clients - previous functionality should not break

Performance tests for Cosmo

• What does the plan look like for Cosmo performance work
• Randy will spend some time on this
• Jared did a set of benchmarks to size the server we need to buy
• We have developed any other performance testing scenarios - none for the UI
• If we had the set of use cases, do we have the infrastructure to write these tests
  • More complicated due to latency from the network
• Get some baseline numbers
• Get the set of use cases we are going to target
• Standard data set
• Focus on a couple of problems
• Seems like we can use windmill
• Next action: Draft use case (Priscilla)
• Next action: Hand run through the use cases for timings (Priscilla)
• We can then decide what tests to write
• Pick a machine that we are going to use
• Get the tests run on Cosmo - need to get the baseline tests setup in time for the Cosmo team to react

• Petroglyph
  • Jared: doesn't look like much
  • Pieter: liked the original petroglyph better
• Dog
  • People seem to like the playful/lively look of the second dog
  • Pieter likes the C
  • Katie doesn't like the C as much and prefers the first dog
  • Sheila understand the appeal of the dog but feels a bit "dogged out"
  • We talked a bit about dog breed and how that makes a difference

OSAF wikipedia entry

• A long time ago we talked about improving OSAF entry
• There is also a Chandler PIM entry and Scooby entry
• License is wrong
• We could fix the stuff that's factually incorrect but we should let others decide what about the project they think is important and modify most of the content.
