• Q:
  • Andi is spending most of his time on bugs. Some of the bugs are merge related, coming from dogfooders. Others are coming from Grant's stamping-as-annotations branch, which exercises the repository differently.
  • Morgen and PJE have been working on EIM. PJE noted that the core issues around types were hashed out last week. Ted brought up one more issue that needs to get resolved. PJE will update the proposal.
  • Morgen is also polishing off assorted alpha4 bugs. The "magic url" issue was resolved yesterday, and will be implemented in Chandler in alpha5.
• Alpha4
  • Grant's branch will land in the next few days, but EIM is for alpha5 and the other work is mainly bugs, no other new features really.
  • Stability is a bit of an issue (all those bugs Andi is chasing down). The bugs are mostly coming from dogfooders, not from QA or written tests. Morgen is looking at writing a "serverless" sharing test, using a mock server (filesystem).

  • Fixed bug 6622 (Restoring shares failed and got stuck on Saving...)
  • Added save/restore support for subscribed-to freebusy shares
  • Fixed bug 4735 (Delete server collection if publish fails)
  • Fixed bug 6661 (exceptions below importProcess shouldn't be categorized as "parse errors")
  • Met with pje and Cosmo folks to discuss data type specifications for the EIM
  • Met with Cosmo folks to hammer out the sharing URL story, and wrote up the proposal: http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Journal/CosmoWebURLProposal

  • Finish alpha 4 bugs
