  • Anyone with an interest in the requirements of sharing, please get involved in the conversation. There may be some fuzziness in end-user requirements. Requirements for secondary items, etc.

• QOTF (morphed to, how are you handling information overload?):
  • Morgen: feeling kind of overloaded, need to step out of irc, prevent interruptions, not try and follow everything as it comes in
  • Grant: only check mail once an hour, don't read 80% when it comes in -- skim once a day
  • Bear: have to keep up with a lot of projects, set aside 30 minutes to do that, or emails and commits cause distractions. Read design list once a day, otherwise read it as soon as it comes in. Other projects are being more mailing list oriented, don't have to keep 7 irc windows up to find out what is going on. Want to know, but afraid to know: cosmo/scooby merge. Know little about Jared's project. Work of merging the project falls on bear, rearranging directories, changing the builds -- fear this will have an impact. CATS testing framework -- its out there and they've shown demos. Code reviewed?
  • PJE: no. similar process to what
  • Travis: could do with more information about just about everything. Mostly doing ok, but a lot of things that need more documentation, or updated documentation. Repository and schema APIs.
• sets/dicts/cardinality -- this is confusing and needs some rexamination -- PJE is going to look at this
• Mimi and PPD are using wacom tablets + vnc as a virtual whiteboard during meetings, with some success. Let Katie know if you'd find a wacom tablet useful, and we'll get you one.
• Katie will be on vacation next fortnight, Grant will facilitate the meeting (complete with question)

Grant

• Progress
  • Checked in a prototype of stamping-as-annotations to my svn [[sandbox][http://svn.osafoundation.org/sandbox/grant/stamping][sandbox]].
  • Checked in a couple of minor testing-related fixes.
  • Ongoing patch reviews, intern support.
  • Looked into a subtle timing issue with DanSteinicke (since written up as 6243).
  • Thought a little about doing VTODOs: This will probably wait for stamping changes, as some VTODOs probably need to get implemented as Tasks, and others as TaskEvents.
  • Figured out 6250 (Can't re-subscribe to a calendar after deleting it from the sidebar) with IRC help from ovaltofu, and met with JohnAnderson to figure out a fix.
  • Debugged and figured out 4217 (modify occurrence to all-day causes sharing error), which is now really some kind of über-next-of-bugs, with JeffreyHarris.
  • Met with a bunch of others about 1745 (Use displayName for Item titles?), and helped resolve a course of action.
  • Helped AndiVajda investigate 6266 (Newly created events not showing up on calendar canvas). Also, trying to recreate this in α3.
  • Got my new, non-β, release of Parallels running (Thanks, Philippe & Dave!)
  • Wrote up some issues with implementing stamping as annotations, and implemented pje's suggestions.
  • Looked into some SSL performance issues in sharing, following Lisa’s chandler-dev@ email
• Plan
  • Ongoing work on stamping-as-annotations.
  • Write up an outline/plan for dealing with indexes and "derived" attributes.
  • Intern support as needed.
