• Question of the week:
  • Bear: add tasks, tasks and contacts allow the pim folks to latch on to the project -- trifecta! We're in the summer doldrums, we're sort of inefficient. Limit the big source code changes, focus on stability while we're in the summer doldrums. wx seems to be breaking things in the UI.
  • PJE: go faster!
  • Grant: more engineering dogfooders.
  • Katie: more testing/dogfooding of background sync
  • Travis: dogfooding sounds like a good suggestion, comment on what needs to be done
• Worry about landing the tarball, will cause a few days of chaos, still one functional test
• Python 2.43 upgrade landing -- testing on windows
• Officially swapped the licenses to Apache 2.0 this afternoon

  • Released setuptools 0.6b2 and 0.6b3, some work on 0.6rc1
  • Python 2.5: wsgiref docs and integration into the Python stdlib

Grant

  • Got Travis Vachon (platform team intern) up and running on Chandler development. Integrated his changes to the feeds tutorial document.
  • 6045 Event disappears when sharing after changing occurrence.
  • Discussed 5937 (Don't load items in FilteredCollections) with AndiVajda and JeffreyHarris.
  • Discussed possible plans for making recurrence sharing more robust with JeffreyHarris.
  • Also looked at, but was unable to reproduce 6014.
  • Got Chandler & unit tests up and running with CalendarEventMixin.occurrences and CalendarEventMixin.modifications moved over to RecurrenceRuleSet.
  • Ported old contacts code (from PyCon 2006) to use current Chandler & egg plugin mechanism.
