• Question of the week:
  • Ted, PJE, Brian: yes
  • Bear: ecosystem, scooby, cosmo, chandler interaction testing may require another build computer. This could be considered a qa resource, not clear what their plans are. Bear currently uses his g5 (his main workstation). Another option is to morph the intel mac into a test system.
  • Grant: currently using a coopted machine running linux, running under jed's desk, but this seems to be working out fine.

  • Enhanced Sourceforge download facility for setuptools, to automatically retry with a different mirror if a download fails
  • Assist Heikki w/debugging M2Crypto leaks
  • Python 2.5:
    • Checked in patch #1463867, and a minor cleanup of another patch requested by Guido
    • Tracked down a memory allocation bug in the readline facility, and a problem with the PEP 343 tests
    • Overhaul 6 stdlib modules to properly support PEP 302, along with doc enhancements and new tests
  • Misc. IRC assists
  • Finalized feature plan for setuptools 0.6b1 (due to go into 2.5a2 next week)
