wx experiment

• wx discussion with Stefan, Robin and Reid. We decided to host the transparency code by Stefan in a wx branch at OSAF and get Jeffrey to use it in the lozenge drawing. We also covered the Mac toolbar issues. All together though, wx is in a better shape than ever with respect to what we need it to do.
