Decisions and Next Steps

• Aparna will forward results of long running chandler tests to Andi and we will arrange a time to chat with him on IRC.
• Aparna and Bear will decide where to checkin the data loading script so others can have access.
• Olivier will document how to use the data loader.
• Sheila will work on restructuring performance page with more explicit goals for 0.6 (from last week)
• Aparna and Donn will discuss how we can use CPIA script for running a single performance use case in order to get some specific timing data.

  • idle chandler tests done, start adding rss feeds.
  • send test results to andi and synch up on irc about what he needs to proceed with investigation.

• data loading script
  • olivier is done with the data loading script.
  • did demo last thurs for aparna....looks good.
  • where should this get checked in - aparna working with bear to figure out where to put this stuff.
  • next step is to use olivier's script to create some persona data.
  • olivier will send out a readme for his script explaining how to use it.

• start this week to focus on better analysis of the performance problems.

• CPIA script
  • could be use cpia scripts for some of the slow use cases and get specific timing info.
  • Aparna thinks, that the script is not far enough along yet.
  • Aparna will work with Donn to find out how we could look at running CPIA script for a single slow use case ie: switching views.
  • Aparna and Donn are meeting this afternoon and will discuss.
  • Olivier working on cpia script infrastructure and can possibly help.
