Decisions and Next Steps

• Send a message to the dev list/blog our target platform info for performance testing (leftover from last week - Sheila will do this today)
• Send out a note to dev with the latest test results after we re-run the tests on all the machines (minus ram, os reinstall on mac) (Aparna).
• Talk to Morgen about alternatives to not lock up the UI if the import takes too long....not urgent and will probably wait until after milestone (Katie).

Notes

• Sheila will blog note about performance hardware and objectives and send to the dev list.
• reviewed Anthony's latest test results with the 3000 event calendar. Need to get the numbers for the Mac tests. Once that is done, Aparna send out a message to dev list about latest test results.
• The latest test results were recorded after the extra RAM was removed from the Linux and PC boxes.
• Katie still working on getting someone to do the analysis for the performance in certain areas - maybe we can use the CPIA script to handle this. We will discuss this as part of the CPIA script review that will happen when Donn returns from vacation.
• Excel tool - Katie sent Aparna a proposal. Once Olivier starts, he will review this and start on this as his first project. Must be easy for aparna to create sample data. Mimi and Sheila will also be able to use this and should review the proposal.
• Still need to talk to Morgen about alternatives large data import locking up the app. We won't worry about this until after the next milestone since we are waiting for some infrastructure work that will help us to better evaluate this.
• Import/Export client targets - need a separate review for this spec.
