We have a mechanism set up whereby we can specify that certain attributes of an item are "outside" of the sharing cloud, meaning that they aren't shared, even when the item itself is shared. Thus far, the collection attribute is the only attribute that users are aware "live outside of the sharing cloud".

What are some other attributes we might want to relegate to "outside" of the sharing cloud?

- Any user-defined labels. (ie. Project: Foo. Perhaps which labels get shared and which ones don't get shared should be up to the user, but by default, they can be kept private.)

- Personal annotations (ie. Everyone at OSAF subscribes to the office. Each person should have a way to take their own meeting notes, without having to share them with everyone else.)

- Email stamp (ie. I subscribe to a read-only events calendar. Even though I only have read-only access and can't edit the core calendar fields like: Title, Location or Date/Time, it would be really nice if I could still stamp the items in the calendar and send them to friends as invites.

OTOH Sometimes, it would be nice to maintain a shared list of invitees (a la evite) that everyone can see and add to.

- Task stamp, really any stamp. You could make an argument that the "Taski-ness" of an item is highly personal. (ie. I own the agenda for a weekly meeting. As a result, I like to stamp that weekly meeting as a Task, so that I see it on my Task list, which in turn reminds me to prepare the Agenda for the meeting a couple of days prior to the meeting every week. However, the other people who attend the meeting, just need to show up to add their .02, so they don't really want to see the event item as a task.)

OTOH, are there instances where groups would like to share the "Task-i-ness" of events. ie. A family shares an "errands and chores" calendar. And "Take out the garbage" is on their for every Tuesday morning as a scheduled task. (I could still see however, that really, it's only the person who is responsible for taking out the garbage that cares about the "Task-i-ness" of that event. For everybody else, it's just an FYI reminder that somebody needs to take out the garbage.)

- Reminders

- Triage status (not always)

Seems like we're headed in the direction of per-attribute in/out of sharing cloud.
