Notes

Announcements

  • Welcome Sheila who has resumed working part-time
  • Wholeoffice (KEI) Chandler demo today at Lunch. Mimi/Katie to run the demo/presentation.
  • Benefits Meeting on Thursday at 1 pm. Attendance is mandatory. Remote people should call in.
  • OSAF will not be doing reviews in January.
  • There is a Holiday Party being planned for sometime in January.

Project check in

  • Server: 0.10 is going thru QA certification. Dev team is working on 0.11. We still need to plan for a week of windmill test development by devs to help the QA team catch up with the releases.
  • Desktop: 0.7.3 is in development. It should branch tomorrow if all blocker bugs are resolved. Chandler bug council will be meeting today to review the outstanding 0.7.3 bugs.
  • Hub: No special news except for the reversal of 0.9 the week before. Jared expressed the need to shorten the window when a problem is detected and before the release is backed out.
  • QA: very busy with Cosmo 0.10 and Desktop 0.7.3 cp. The record script tests will land in 0.7.4 and will make the certification task slightly easier. The acceptance tests need to be updated to add additional scenarios.
  • PPD: Sheila, Katie, Mimi and Ted plan to meet today to carve out the Cosmo 1.0 feature set.
  • Pending threads needing attention
    • OSU attendees : Philippe is the driver and he will confirm on the list that Adam and Mikeal, who have volunteered, will indeed be going for the talk.
    • Desktop supported platforms : Heikki is the driver and he should resolve the final list on the dev thread.

Calconnect

  • People have mixed reactions about Calconnect membership. Though everyone feels we are not getting expected benefit out of it, they also feel completely severing the ties at this stage may not be completely wise especially since we need the outward focus now.
  • Katie is the driver for this thread and will summarize everyone's suggestions and reply to Mikeal's post on the strategy list.

Strategy and Evangelism

  • The goal for this afternoon's lunch time presentation is to showcase how Chandler to all of KEI and get wider user adoption starting in-house.
  • There will also be a demo of using Cosmo for conference room booking to show a real case example.
  • Aparna to do a Chandler demo to Hrithyms this Friday and Sheila to do a demo to Jason's company next week when she is in Vancouver. Both will report feedback on the list.

Staff meeting this week

  • Go over the KEI lunchtime presentation feedback.
  • Demos
    • Interop demo by Jared
