Performance Review
- Mitch presented the KEI perf review concepts and principles
- Need to get jobs descriptions as one of the reviews input, Katie to help managers if jobs descriptions missing
- Simplification: form less rating driven, more free form paragraphs, no formula
- 3 dimensions: 1. Clarity of goals 2. Relationship with peers 3. Results and achievements
- Values: we should certainly communicate more on those during the year (with new hires for instance)
- 3 "buckets" for evaluation (including self evaluation): 1. Needs improvement / Marginal 2. Satisfactory / Valuable 3. Exemplary
- Katie sent the functional competencies to the group
- We'll create some guidelines on to how to write the reviews (length, time, etc...)
- Next: will pick peer reviewers (Suzette handling the master spreadsheet)
