Interns 2007

• Recruiting project starting, please review list of projects
• We'll have 4 to 5 in house interns this year
• Please, let Philippe knows about your intern needs (or no need for...)

Branding/Naming

• We have the trademark report, need to meet with Mitch about it

PR

• Still thinking about how to counter the perception in the general public that Chandler failed
• Sheila and Mimi preparing a post about our Design process
• In general, we should post more in the run up to Preview and we have plenty of things to talk about (new features, new doc, design process, etc...)
• OSCON presentations: need to get writings from people, ops people to get to team members 1:1 to get ideas/writing

Service Metrics

• Strategy conversation about metrics (Jared is in the process of working on a concrete proposal)
• 2 aspects:
  • What do we want to count? People, accounts, downloads, users on lists...
  • How do we revamp and measure the community aspects?
• Implementing all this (metrics and reports) will take time so we need to be cautious and realistic for Preview
• Can those be public? Yes in general though privacy is the limit (no user name for instance)

Initial users

• Do we want a formal "beta" group? No, we have a user list now and those people on the list are that "beta" group.
• We need more people, more diversity of users before Preview. We're not trying to create different categories of users though.

Preview

• We need to track schedule more closely now
• We have risks due to big work landing (like sharing/EIM)
• Dependency with Cosmo 0.6.1 so we need to get Chandler data to help Cosmo schedule their workload
