Hiring and Staffing

• We're interviewing someone for a contract position for a product marketing strategy proposal
• We discussed progress on the open scooby and cosmo positions
• SoC^? intern midterm reports coming up

Hosted Service

• We're kicking off the hosted service project
• Jared will create a service-dev list
• Jared is moving to focus on this full time
• In reviewing Jared's proposal, Mitch questioned our estimated #s for after Beta -- he thinks we should plan for low 1000s of users, more than ~250. We noted that this is not a (conservative) estimate on #s we need to hit for revenue -- we're using these numbers to plan capacity. Mitch's numbers are on the demand side, we can make our own plans for what we're willing to supply.
• We'd be wise to build in mechanisms to throttle back supply if we need to (queue up requests, throttle back frequency of background sync on the server side, etc.)
