OSAF IT and OSUOSL student sponsorship

• Jared sent out an operations proposal making some recommendations for sponsoring OSU students
• if we sponsor someone -what does that mean
• they have a program - 1/2 time
• hosting is free
• sponsor a student and get some project time
• should we pursue this?
• osaf it intern has been helpful
• more stuff people could do...even part time
• access the state of OSAF it - is it stacked up, do we need resources
• if we include wiki - things might increase in the short-term
• jared - scripting to do metrics - blocked on jared - could be a project for someone
• if we move our server - we get some ops things for free
• sponsorship is optional
• jared - we could use these resources
• good opportunity to improve diversity - do we know anything about OSU
• should base this on Jared's recommendation
• good idea to have relationship
• project list - put this together
• sponsorship is annual - 20 hrs a week
• jared will come up with a plan/proposal
