Scooby Meeting Notes - June 8th 2006

Agenda

• Reminder 0.2 code freeze EOD today. Are we on track with QA? -->Code freeze tomorrow 6/9/06
• Any questions for Bear about the build process? Scooby build notes
• Update on 0.3 planning. Target users for Scooby after today's status meeting.
• Update information for 0.2 landing pages - Do we need to meet again offline for anything?

Notes

0.2 landing pages

• Will create a super bug in bugzilla just like last time
• Not a major amount of work
• New screen captures for the 0.2 demo page
• Posted the link for the statistic for the scooby landing site - 350 hits we had about half the number when to the demo. Approx. 150/160 to look at the demo
• 1/10 went to the download link
• 0.2 and 0.1 anything else that is related to the 0.2 release
• file a bug as to what we need talk about this
• Discussion about having the docs, java doc automatically generated (for Cosmo)

QA

• Adam an emulator to help automate testing

Target Users - 0.3 planning

• Continue planning for 0.3 --> Will walk through some target user’s work flow with John and start to have more planning meetings with the Scooby team.

Need to address for next release

• Confirmed status - confirmed, FYI and tentative --> assume that every event is confirmed.
• 'Cancelled' is replaced by FYI.--> incompatibility w/ other calendars
• Export checkbox status

• Chandler--> calDAV client
• Some of the information may be changed with the sharing format. --> readdress it on the list
• Focus on people who publish their calendar with Chandler

• FYI. OSCON conference in Portland
