What a developer wants:

• parcels directory structure reorg, compartmentalizing
• apis for:
  • menu/toolbar changes
  • sidebar changes
  • other parts of the UI, depending on current collection or item
  • preferences
• upon "installation", detect default itemcollections to include into sidebar
• expanding the web framework
  • separate repository views per servlet (?)
  • make the servlet api non-twisted dependent
• interoperability with external apps via:
  • SOAP ?
  • other XML-based apis?
• restructuring (especially Application.py) to allow pieces of the Chandler framework to be used (Util.py is a first attempt)
• a "headless" / server version
• parcel management facilities:
  • install
  • upgrade
  • enable / disable
  • remove
  • dependencies management
• tools
  • schema editor
