Notes

• Dogfooding Chandler
  • Need to have everyone dogfooding Chandler, logging bugs and plowing through it.
  • Chandler stability is the most important thing right now.

• Wireframes for cosmo ui to handle more than just events
  • Mimi and Priscilla met last week. Priscilla finishing up on the wireframes.
  • Would like to propose a design session tomorrow to go over with the Cosmo team.

• Target user write-up
  • Probably not this week, but Mimi and Priscilla will prepare a presentation for the next staff meeting.

• Are there any presentations PPD should be doing?
  • Going over the Cosmo planning for 0.6 and roadmap to Preview for a staff meeting.
  • Might want to go over Chandler Alpha 5 details.

• Desktop specs
  • Making good progress on sharing and e-mail spec. Sheila is working through it.
  • Sharing items thing? A lot of work. Taking the stamping storyboard sending around items, will be sending to the list.
  • Need to work on data in and out.
  • Will need to engage the developers. A whole bunch of meetings for the desktop side. ie. Recap 'Search' box

• Design issues for the list
  • Not too much follow up on. Sheila to send out [Decision] for the side bar 'peak a boo' icons.

• Wiki
  • There is a new web home for Priscilla to start putting in the taxonomy work Mimi/Ted did. Will start working on it once the higher priority Cosmo stuff is stable.

• Vacation
  • Thanksgiving, Sheila and Mimi out, two to three weeks.
  • The team will go over 'independent projects' in November. ie. projects that do not rely on other people, such as the portal project and branding stuff.

  • Usual monitoring of the design list, summaries etc

  • Finish Sharing and Email specs
  • First draft of Labelling and Data In/Out specs
  • Monitor Cosmo planning
  • Dogfooding Chandler, bug triage
  • Out at conference on Thurs pm.

Priscilla

• Progress
  • General item support wireframes - Finishing up single item view and work with Mimi on the list view. To create consistant terminology, clarify features and behaviors.
  • Cosmo wiki pages - Will be updating pages with Cosmo 0.6 planning, tenets, feature ranking matrix, etc.
  • Cosmo 0.5 specs - Moving content to 0.6 spec. Updating the 0.5 content.
  • Target user write ups - working on a few slides with Mimi for staff meeting presentation based on Cosmo sprint.
  • Reviewed recurring events with Matthew last week. We were able to have next actions for implementing recurring events.

• Plans
  • May want to go over general item support wireframes for upcoming design session?
  • Finalize on on Cosmo 0.6 with Ted and present to the team. Update information on the wiki.
  • Meeting with Matthew again this week to finalize on further visual tweaks/details for Cosmo UI for 0.5.
  • Photoshop screens for Cosmo URL workflows
  • Still working through the punchlist of non-developement tasks, sent it to the list and updating my progress. This item will be done when 0.5 is officially released.
  • Cosmo landing pages - working with Pieter on upcoming 0.5 launch for landing pages. Will follow up on Thursday for the release mng. meeting
  • Wiki/portal project - To start listing out taxonomy work from Ted/Mimi and put on the new wiki portal.

Mimi

• Progress
  • Reviewing sidebar empty collection behavior with John and on the list
  • Working through item sharing issues with Sheila, Morgen and Brian Kirsch, in particular
    • Reply, Reply all and Forward
    • Sharing the BCC field
    • Putting item on Cosmo
  • Handed over UI elements wireframe to Priss to mock-up
  • Wrote up usage scenarios for GData/Atom
  • Started list discussion on rich text editing in Chandler
  • Pulled together wiki page detailing view settings behavior: http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Journal/
