Minimum Support for Scooby

In Progress

This page is to answer the question “what is the minimum support we want to require for Scooby?”. Based on the Scooby 1.0 target user, the Casual Collaborator; we need to hypothesize what these users will be using to give them the best viewing experience when using Scooby. We will take into consideration some external statistics, but the Casual Collaborator target user is so broad, we’re just going to set some boundries on who they are to give focus for development.

This is not to say we are not concerned about the functionality of how Scooby will behave on other platforms and OS etc. There is already a minimum systems requirement for Scooby.

Web Statistics and Trends

“What you can read from the statistics link is that Internet Explorer 6 is the most common browser, XP is the most dominating operating system, and most users are using a display with 1024x768 pixels or more, with a color depth of at least 65K colors.”
