Reminders

I notice that the reminders don't really pop up and take focus away from other applications. That's kind of killer for me because I lose track of time and become late for meetings really easily. I have no idea how much extra work it is to make alarms take focus.

Creating events

If I drag my mouse over an area of the calendar then double click in this area, I discovered I can create an event over a specific period of time. However I really experimented to find this out because there was no visual feedback to show me that I'd selected a period.

Saving new field values

• If I edit the event subject and hit "Enter" my edits get lost.
• If I edit the new event subject and then click on status (confirmed) then alarm (10 min) the subject gets lost.
• Sometimes I'll apparently edit the event subject successfully but later it disappears and gets replaced with "new Event".
• Bug:2750: Similar but not quite the same as the repro scenarios I've found
• If I edit the start day then immediately click on the "all-day" checkbox...

Deleting events

Drag and drop

Can't drag and drop from calendar view... known bug?

Drag and drop from the summary view works only sporadically. Often the mouse gesture does not pick up the event and it isn't dragged. The user has to be careful and deliberate. May work even worse when trying to select the item icon to drag the item. Bug:2158

Once I dragged and dropped seemingly successfully -- I saw the green + icon and hovered it over the destination collection -- but going into the destination collection it didn't show up.

Multi-day events

These don't show up as multi-day events yet, either in the minical or the week view, although the detail view says they're multi-day events. This is just feature work still planned for 0.6.

Auto-sync

This probably should be considered a requirement... Chandler should synch every 10 minutes or so, or it will be too annoying to use in the office.

Minical

When I pick the date on Minical in the summary view, it does change the date range highlighted. THen if I change to Calendar application/view, the week view doesn't display the same date range that remains highlighted in the mini cal.

Cut and paste

I tried to cut and paste into the notes field of an event. The first time I do this the pasted text first appears then disappears!! The second time it "sticks".
