notes from calendar design review

• design writeup will be here: CalendarFunctionalSpec
  • move vanilla selection logic to CollectionCanvas
  • CollectionCanvas should maintain start/end indexes for general interactions with item collections
  • consider using a 0-1 scale for drawing logic and then do transformations (stick with drawing in a given rect if thats easier)
  • create a separate ENUM for week modes in the week view (week vs just tracking some # of days)
  • ok to create rects for hit testing
  • bitmap button approach for text buttons ok
  • double buffering in window not necessary if platform is doing buffering, would only be useful for win2000 if we get this other fix to work.
