issues arising at stamping code review

• addressing: stamping button know their kinds, how should they refer to them?
• commit policy: john suggested commit should be called before the operation (to close off the last transaction and start fresh)
• attribute indirection

• new items and newly stamped items, how to fill in initial values?
  • defaults
  • copy a template item
  • on init of python class, setup items
• aspect item needs acess to original item
• nice to have diagram of current proposed content model (including kinds and python classes -- two diagrams?)

• one attribute? vs participants/send/etc.
