Managing the share

Specific issues by domain

  • Communications shares requires an additional Owner column in addition to the Who column because the user might not be in either the To or the From field of a message
  • Events Who's status us reflected? The sharer's or the sharee's? That depends on context. For Mitch and Esther, Esther will want to see Mitch's status. For an office calendar, users will want to see their own statuses. One hack might be to remove status from shared calendars. A more complex solution would be to reflect status per user and give users the option to choose who's status they want to see for that shared calendar.
