Typefaces, font sizes and antialiasing in Chandler Desktop 1.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 with Unsanity Silk
The PNGs here may not fully reproduce the difference that was visible when I experimented with my first generation MacBook Pro 17" (1,680 x 1,050 pixels):
- with and without antialiasing
- with and without font substitution
If I repeat this exercise, I might use TinkerTool to prefer TIFF in lieu of PNG for screen shots.
Font smoothing style: Automatic - best for main display

I currently use Silk to prefer SimSun 14

- Ming/Song typefaces may not be the most obvious choice but for me they work very well in busy reading applications such as Colloquy.
