Chandler Engineering Meeting, Thursday January 4th 2007

Triage of 0.7Release and 0.7alpha6 bugs

Katie and Sheila done some of this. Seems important to get a complete picture of what we have on our plate for alpha5. Are we done here?

• Sheila not finished, will be finished tomorrow
• Katie needs to review things with Morgen (who's on vacation)
• Philippe will do it as well

All this needs to be finished by next week.

Conflict resolution UI

• We need to find a solution for the simple case while we can't have the versioning feature
• We agreed to get the discussion moving on the list
• We'ss have a design meeting on this next week
• We'll push the installer design meeting to the week after next

Interop Scenarios

Following up on Sheila's issues on import/export with Freada. What should we do to cover all those? Who owns this?

• We should have an assessment of what's out there for import/export
• Create a structure on the Wiki for interop and export/import issues
• List the common strategies and recipes for iCal, Outlook and some other popular apps
• We might limit the "official" support (with regression tests and all) for the top 2. Aparna to add that to the test scenarios.
• Sheila will create the squeleton Wiki page for this (will check with Dave what he did so far)

Test Plan

Aparna to update us on her progress and issues with this. Strategies for scenario writing?

• Met with Mimi making a list of scenarios
• Plan is to create a set of end to end scenarios involving Chandler and Cosmo
• We need to agree on the list of scenarios
• Aparna to send a proposed test plan to the list for review
